Denmark - 3.2% drop in pig antibiotics use

According to Denmark’s VSP Knowledge Centre for Pig Production, total antimicrobial use on Danish pigs in 2010 dropped by 3.2% from the previous year.

According to Denmark’s VSP Knowledge Centre for Pig Production, total antimicrobial use on Danish pigs in 2010 dropped by 3.2% from the previous year.

Particularly, in the last part of 2010, the consumption of antibiotics was 14.5 % lower compared with January to June.
